I came home from work tonight to log in to twitter to see the worst tweet from precious Layla Grace's family. She was 2-years-old and passed from Neuroblastoma. The tweet read: Layla went to play with the angels early this morning. Rest in peace precious Layla. 11/26/2007 - 3/9/2010
My heart just broke and I shed some tears. It just breaks my heart. She is now in heaven, out of pain. God has definitely gained a sweet angel today. Rest In Peace sweet baby girl. You will be in my heart and thoughts forever. I have lit a candle for you tonight. My thoughts go out to her parents and sisters tonight. www.laylagrace.org

I also read the tweet and followed their story. She most surely is with the angels now, no longer feeling any pain.
May her family find peace and know that her story, Layla's story, touched so many.

So sad. God will see them through but I cannot begin to imagine their pain.

Nichol, You truly are such a kind person. Thanks for the post on little Layla. I know her family is hurting, but also glad to know she is out of pain now. I will have them in my prayers as well. I hope you always keep your sweet heart!!
so sad to hear about this sweet little girl. is there an address that we can send a card and a donation to her family? my heart aches for them.
