Sharpie plus 2 year old equals

DISASTER! So Zoe some how found a Sharpie and while I was getting dinner ready she had fun. Our newly painted dining room is now Sharpie decorated. All the hard work and now we have to prime and paint again. I guess it could have been much worse right? When I explained to her we only do coloring in her books and on paper she said pretty and pointed. I said no Zoe that is not pretty. Now who left that Sharpie laying around? Hmmm....

What you are unable to see is behind the table. That wall and baseboard heating is also decorated. My Mr. Clean Magic Eraser didn't come through for me this time. I still love you Mr. Clean. So off to redecorate the dining room again.

i went through this a month ago and tried everything to get it off thought i would have to repaint to but mine was kitchen walls and bedroom doors and walls but I used the piggy paint nail polish remover not any nail polish remover since i tried others but the piggy paint unscented polish remover and it came off without removing the paint and so easily and this was many hours after the marker had been on good luck

Oh No! I would have thought the Magic Eraser would have taken care of that for you! Good luck with the redecorating!

Ugh! I am so sorry! I almost can't bear that you have to do that painting again so soon!

Oh no! Been there!! The piggy paint polish remover worked for me too, Nichol! Do you have some? I can mail you the rest of mine if you need it. Way cheaper than repainting. How dare Mr. Clean not work! :D

You should alert the Mr Clean company of this tragedy!! How does the magic eraser not work?? It's supposed to work on EVERYTHING. I depend on it to work on everything!

Thank you everyone. I did the Piggy Paint which removed the Sharpie, but unfortunately the paint came with it. It was a flat paint so I'm wondering if that is why. I appreciate all the comments.

Oh, good lord! You haven't had that decorated for too long either! Allie draws all over everything, but thank god she hasn't found a sharpie just yet!
