So here it is October 15 and we have snow. Am I happy about this? Heck no! This is going to be a long winter. I have turned to the handy dandy weather report and here is the report for my area:
.. WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT SATURDAY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR EARLY SEASON SNOW... WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT SATURDAY.
STEADY LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. TOTAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION WILL RANGE FROM 3 TO 5 INCHES ALONG THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS TO 4 TO 7 INCHES ACROSS THE HIGHER HILLS, THE IMPACT OF THIS SNOW ON LEAF COVERED TREES CAN RESULT IN A SNOW LOAD CAPABLE OF BRINGING DOWN TREES BRANCHES AND LIMBS AND POSSIBLY SOME POWER LINES. THE EARLY SEASON SNOW WILL REQUIRE USING WINTER DRIVING SKILLS.

THIS WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS BEING ISSUED BECAUSE OF THE EARLY SEASON SNOW. WHILE THE WEATHER MAY NOT BE SIGNIFICANT, THE WORD ADVISORY IMPLIES THAT SOME CAUTION IS TO BE HEEDED.
So this is not a good weather report. I'm not happy at all to hear about this. Help me get ready for a dreaded winter here in New York.

It snowed a bit on Sat and I couldnt believe it!
Here's the craziest part... We are hitting record HIGHS this weekend here in Phoenix, AZ! Supposed to be 100 degrees on Saturday, and almost that hot tomorrow! UGH!!
I know that people who live in snow all the time hate it...but we would LOVE for it to snow down here! We are just now getting out of the 90's this week, and it is finally starting to feel like fall!
