Bed Bouquet Review & Giveaway! CLOSED

THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED! CONGRATULATIONS clallen and joeandbridge

I wash my linens every single Sunday. Weekly washing has always been what I do because I have to have fresh sheets. Every time I put our clean sheets on I sprinkle my mattress with Lavender Baby Powder before the fresh sheets go onto the mattress. Why do I do this? Because of the fresh smell every time I get into my bed. I love the feeling of clean fresh sheets that smell amazing. If I let my sheets go longer than a week they aren't so fresh. So when I learned about a company named Bed Bouquet I had to test out the product. Here is some information about Bed Bouquet:

"The general concept surrounding the creation of Bed Bouquet was to develop an apparatus that would be physically unnoticeable to the sleeper, yet, emit a soft fragrance throughout the bed sheets for weeks in order to eliminate the need for daily application.
It was also important to ensure that the unit be designed to avoid all chemical-to-skin contact that could lead to irritation. The results, a specially designed fragrance pad with a pliable housing and adhesive backing that when placed on the mattress contours with the sleeper’s body position, thus, going undetected.
The top openings of the apparatus allow a mild and tantalizing scent to permeate throughout the sheets giving consumers daily enjoyment of their selected fragrance. Bed Bouquet uses only the finest oils to capture the essence of the fragrance and all oils are certified by the International Fragrance Association."

When I received my Bed Bouquet Products I immediately washed my sheets. I then peeled away the tab which revealed some vents. The aroma from the linen scent was soft and truly a scent I love. Linen scent for linens of course! I attached the Bed Bouquet Linen scent to my mattress under my sheet, up toward the top and in the center. I did this around 2 weeks ago and the smell is still wonderful. Every time I hop into bed all I can smell is my Bed Bouquet. The scent has lasted and my bed is fresh each and every time I get into it. I no longer have to sprinkle my mattress with powders which only dry out my skin and this is not at all noticeable. The other scent I received was the Citrus. I have put this in my top dresser drawer for the time being until I am ready to use it but let me tell you my undergarments are smelling wonderful right now. The Citrus smells amazing. I cannot wait to get into my bed with this one in the next few weeks. This product would be perfect for those college boys who don't wash their sheets regularly also. Who doesn't want a fresh smelling bed?

Along with my samples of Bed Bouquet I was sent a wonderful E-book giving me all sorts of secret bed tips. It talks about bed bugs(eww) to tips on how to buy the perfect bed, to cleaning your mattress. I have really enjoyed reading this Ebook and it is given free with every Bed Bouquet order. Bed Bouquet comes in 4 scents. Linen, Citrus, Jasmine & White Rose and Lavender & Vanilla. I cannot wait to try the other scents. The Lavender & Vanilla has to be a dream come true as those are my two favorite scents ever!

I learned about dust mites, "they are found everywhere, but thrive in the dark, warm, humid environment that our beds and mattresses in particular, provide."

I learned to remove dirt or dust, whip out your vacuum. Most mattress manufacturers suggest that occasionally vacuuming your mattress is a good idea, even if it doesn’t look dirty, to keep dust mites under control.

My husband suffers from allergies... so I was particularly interested in your post! I went to Bed Bouquet and was especially intrigued by the Dust Mite section. It lists a whole lot of things you can do to prevent them (though I won't list them all here). It grosses me out to even THINK of dust mites... so I plan on taking some steps suggested by their website to make sure my bed is Dust Mite Free... first step... getting a HEPA filter Vacuum! I need a new vacuum anyway! (I shudder to think of hotels! ICK!)

I learned the following tidbit about aromatheraphy candles:

Good manufacturers use natural waxes like palm, beeswax and soy for an exquisitely cleaner flame. Petroleum based wax, which is an artificial wax, is a poor substitute and makes for an inferior aromatherapy candle

Ewwww. I learned that bed bugs feast on the millions of dead skin cells that we shed each night and produce allergen-rich feces. This is the actual trigger for an asthma attack.
